搬入プロジェクト#14 ソウル市庁舎計画CARRY-IN-PROJECT #14　 SEOUL CITY HALL

2年ぶり2度目の韓国での公演は、ソウル市の中心に位置する市庁舎が舞台。折しも日韓の政治関係が取り沙汰されているタイミングでの開催で、会場の横に残された旧市庁舎は 日韓併合時代に建てられたもの。歴史的背景と当時の情勢を演出に組み込むか悩んだものの、ハイ・ソウル・フェスティバルの催しのひとつとしてシンプルにソウルの人々と共に力を合わせて搬入~搬出するという点に重きをおき巨大かつ多人数での搬入プロジェクトとして成功をおさめた。

The second time in Korea after two years. Our stage was the government of office in central Seoul. It was at the time Japan-Korea political relation was under a strain. Next to the of office was the former government of office, which was built when Korea was under Japanese rule. We thought hard about whether to take in the historical background and the political situation at the time, but decided instead to simply focus on the cooperative act of carrying-in and out with the local people of Seoul, as one event of Hi Seoul Festival: a fruitful project with a large object and many hands to carry.
