The production is part of gF/T Open Application Programh, a new project by Festival/Tokyo 10, established to support performances of young artists.
Synopsis:The original is Dino Buzzatifs gLfUCCISIONE DEL DRAGO(The Slaying of the Dragon)h. The episode in the book subjugating the dragon and the reality of this playfs author, who took part in a big festival for the first time, intertwined in the performance and a strange world of a mishmash of truth and untruth was created on the stage.
Audience in the special seats are called up to the stage and mocked by the actors.
Set Design:A gigantic revolving plate is set in the stage center on which the cast is placed, and a box-like object is hung from the ceiling where surtitles from the original text is projected. The sensor installed on the revolve controls the proceedings of the surtitles.
point:- With the resident staff being in charge of the stage management, lighting and administration, joined by Yasuno and Iizawa following the previous work, the production gained depth and maturity.- By participating in F/T, the company could reach untargeted audience and was recognized by wider range of people, critics and directors from other theatres.
